This Was Halloween

Mums at the Festival

 Fall is my favorite season of all, but honestly whose isn't? The leaves are falling and the turtlenecks, flannels, and scarves are coming out to play. Also we cannot forget about the best flowers of all time, well my favorite, so I may be a tiny but biased but, the mums! My lovely boyfriend, Colten, got me these beautiful yellow ladies at my local towns' Folk Life Festival. You can't tell in this picture, but on this day I was wearing a wonderful black turtleneck purchased from no other than Goodwill herself.

Pumpkin Carving

 Here we have Theodore my wonderful happy pumpkin boy. I had free handed the sketch on the pumpkin, where then Colten mainly did all of the heavy lifting, he's such a sweetheart. While carving the pumpkin it seemed as if it took absolutely no time at all, but one second it was bright as no other, and then the next I was pulling out four candles just to keep the picnic blanket lit. Crazy how fast its getting dark now.

Halloween night

This last photograph was taken on the night of Halloween, witch (ha see what I did there) is arguably the best holiday next to Christmas. I don't look so great in the photo but the night was ending, and I wanted to snap a few pics before I retired and fell into a sugar and horror film induced coma. I went as a Cute Little Cat- I made the ear headband myself with some wire and wire cutters, and Colten as a Lumber Jack- how cute.
